Partition Installing Method
1 Galvanized Metal Frame

a. The top and bottom keels are fixed respectively to the top floor and floor with expansion bolts.

b. The vertical keel should be aligned well according to requirements (generally 612 mm) with laterally supporting keel installed.

2 Board Material Fixed

a. Cutting the board material to dimensions needed (about 10mm lower than wall height).

b. Board material is fixed on keel with tapping screws: interval is generally 200~250mm with screws sinking 0.5mm under the board face.

c. The expansion seam of about 4mm between boards should be kept.

d. Shrouding should be fixed from the middle to the four sides to avoid inner stress and buckling.

e. Glass cotton or rock cotton can be filled before packaging.

Installation Illustration
Ceiling Installing Method
Determine ceiling fixed position; boom central range is generally 1200mm.
Connect boom and main keel with hanging pieces to keep level position.
Vertically fix sub-keel to main keel (range: 612mm).
Install laterally supporting keel (range: 1224mm).
Fix board on sub-keels with tapping screws and complete seam-connecting.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the range of zinc coating available for these metal studs?
We offer zinc coatings ranging from 80g to 275g according to GB standards, and G60 to G90 according to ASTM standards to ensure excellent rust protection.
Are these metal profiles suitable for fire-rated wall systems?
Yes, our metal studs and channels are designed with fireproof properties, making them ideal for high-safety partition and ceiling systems.
What are the common applications for C and U channels?
These profiles are primarily used as the structural framework for gypsum board partitions and suspended ceiling systems in residential and commercial buildings.
Can the sizes of the studs be customized?
Yes, the flexibility of our production allows for adjustability in height (25-40mm), width (50-100mm), and thickness (0.45-1.0mm) to match specific project requests.
What is the difference between person-standing and non-person-standing ceiling systems?
Non-person-standing types only consider the weight of the ceiling and lights. Person-standing types are reinforced to support an 80-100kg load for repair purposes.
What certificates do these products carry?
Our metal profiles are certified by ISO, CE, Ucs, IAF, and CNAS, ensuring international quality and safety compliance.
