Partition Installing Method
1. Galvanized Metal Frame

a. Fix top and bottom keels on the floor and ceiling using expansion bolts.

b. Align vertical keels according to requirements (generally 612mm spacing) with laterally supporting keels installed.

2. Board Material Fixing

a. Cut board material to needed dimensions (approx. 10mm lower than wall height).

b. Fix board to keel with tapping screws at intervals of 200~250mm, sinking screws 0.5mm below the face.

c. Maintain an expansion seam of approx. 4mm between boards.

d. Fix from the middle to the sides to avoid inner stress and buckling.

e. Fill with glass cotton or rock cotton as needed before final fixing.

Ceiling Installing Method

1. Measure ceiling lines to determine fixed positions; boom range is generally 1200mm.

2. Connect boom and main keel with hanging pieces to maintain a level position.

3. Vertically fix sub-keels to the main keel (central range 612mm).

4. Install laterally supporting keels properly (central range 1224mm).

5. Fix boards on sub-keels with tapping screws and treat seam connections.

Notice: Hanging systems are divided into person-standing (80-100kg load capacity for repairs) and non person-standing types.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the advantage of using galvanized steel for framing?
Galvanized steel features a zinc coating that provides superior rust and corrosion protection, ensuring a longer life span and higher structural integrity compared to untreated materials.
Are these metal studs fireproof?
Yes, the galvanized steel framing system is designed to be fireproof, making it an ideal choice for safety-conscious partition and ceiling installations.
Can the sizes of the C and U channels be customized?
The system offers high size adjustability. Common widths range from 50mm to 100mm and thicknesses from 0.45mm to 1.0mm to meet various construction requirements.
What is the recommended spacing for vertical keels in partitions?
For standard partition installations, the vertical keels (studs) should generally be aligned with a central range of 612mm for optimal stability.
How many screws are needed for gypsum board installation?
Typically, 25 to 30 drywall self-tapping screws are required per unit area (as specified in our system proportion tables) to ensure the boards are securely fixed.
Is the ceiling system strong enough to support weight for repairs?
We offer a "person-standing" type ceiling system designed to handle loads of approximately 80~100kg, specifically for maintenance and repair access.
