FRP pultruded profile is a composite material with unique characteristics making it useful in a wide variety of applications. Most rods are composed of polyester resin and fiberglass. These composites can be formed into practically any shape by using the pultrusion process. They are rigid, lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and highly reliable.

During the pultrusion process, raw materials are pulled through a heated steel forming die. Reinforcements are saturated with a resin mixture, wrapped in a surfacing veil, and then pre-formed before entering the die for curing. The result is a solid profile, over 90% cured, which is then cut to the required length.
